Our School
Lyme-Old Middle School is a 6-8 grade school of 280 students located in the historic district of Old Lyme. Its philosophy is guided by the following mission statement:
Lyme-Old Lyme Middle School is dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing and respectful environment to meet the unique intellectual, social and emotional needs of pre-adolescent students. This middle school community will strive to provide rigorous and appropriate academic challenges as well as appropriate social opportunities. We will work with parents and the community to maximize each student’s potential as a lifelong learner and caring, responsible citizen.
